Free Speech and racial slurs

We often hear that when talking about Racial slurs that you should not say that because its offensive. How does that relate to Free speech?

Does it give you a right to say that?
Does Free speech allow you to say that?

Yes people have the right of free speech, but With that right consequences come from what you say. You cant Just walk into to Your school and Shout out racial slurs and Think oh I cant get in trouble, oh its free speech. No, The school has a right to Remove you from the school for violating one of their rules. The school can place consequences for certain Actions no matter if you think its free speech. You can say what you want but, that does not mean that you cant get in trouble. Free speech does not protect you 100% it gives you the right to say what you wnat but you can have actions taken upon you for saying those things.
