Uganda is Trying to post an Ant-homosexuality bill, this means that Uganda will prohibit and penalize homosexual behaviour and related practices in Uganda as they constitute a threat to the traditional family. The good news is that the bill has been changed to remove the death penalty threat, but the threat of death it self remains. The phrase "related practices" could mean anything and leaves the door open to subjective interpretations. This is later spelled out in more detail to the extent that "touching – with the intent to commit a homosexual act" is a crime. Any form of advocacy and failure to report an offense will be subject to a fine and up to three years in prison. This will include medical staff, counselors, priests and pastors, employers and family members. One of the worst aspects of the bill is in clause five, which effectively allows "victims" to kill anyone they claim has committed a homosexual offense against them.

Now I ask you do you feel about what they are doing?
Is it wrong they don't need proof to kill and prosecute these people or alleged people?

This bill is offensive on so many levels. For as long as humans have been around, we have looked for groups to have power over, to blame for our problems, to put down so we can raise ourselves up. These groups have included those who have a different religion, a different language, or a different set of values. The newest group is those with a different sexual orientation. The United Nations should call this bill what it is -- a human rights violation -- and take a strong stand against Uganda and its government.

While I believe it is wrong for them to do this, it is their country and their choice. Outside forces have no right to intervene. IMO
